Hypertension


1. B.P. apparatus or sphygnomanometer must be readily     available in the dental clinic to determine the B.P. in     suspected cases and also to chock whether the B.P.     in under control prior to dental procedures in patients     undergoing antihypertensive therapy.
2. Control of anxiety be sedation if the patient has     controlled or mild hypertension.
3. A patient with moderate or severe HTN requirers     evaluation and treatment by physician.
4. A higher conc. of adrenaline in the L.A. is     contraindicated in HTN and heart diseases patients.
