Angina pectoris

Stressful procedure should be avoided in patients with angina pectoris as stress can pricipitate an attack on the dental chair.
* Appointments should be given for a short duration.
* Sedation of the patient may be required to minimize the stress.
* Hospitalization prior to oral surgical procedures.
