Geographic Tongue
Geographic
tongue may either be asymptomatic or produce a complaint of discomfort
on eating hot or spicy foods. It has recently been shown that some cases
of geographic tongue respond to systemic zinc therapy. The treatment of
choice is a dispersible form of zinc.
